"While in New York City during the spring of 2004 I spent some time performing and composing.

Inspired by the rhythm, mood and energy of the city, I started to add some great jazz standards into my performances and this encouraged me to record not only my own work called E.T.A. N.Y.C. but a whole CD of Standards as well.

There is a direct connection between my approach to both CDs, particularly in the way the music has, in places, a very strong rhythmic drive which suggests a layering of other sounds alonside the piano."
